Fish have always carried stories.
They appear in folk symbols, woven patterns, market signs, coastal rituals, and quiet memories passed from one generation to the next. They remind us that the sea is not only a source of life, but also a keeper of culture, history, and identity.
Four Currents is a collection of four passport notebooks inspired by our relationship with the ocean and the stories that flow through it. Each notebook explores a different current—Memory, Biodiversity, Silence, and Culture—offering a reflection on the ways nature and human experience remain deeply connected.
Together, they form a small archive of observation and wonder: a celebration of abundance, a recognition of fragility, and a reminder that the stories we inherit are shaped by the waters that sustain us.
Created in limited quantities and hand-bound in the Bluetracesph studio, Four Currents is designed to be both a practical writing companion and a thoughtful object to return to over time.
